Tenstorrent’s Wormhole accelerators have been shipping to OEMs for a year. As of last month, they’re starting to appear in rental marketplaces. Three providers we know of:

  • A Vast.ai marketplace listing in Texas, $0.45/hr, two units available.
  • A small EU host running a 4×Wormhole rig at €1.20/hr.
  • A “private beta” at Tinybox-affiliated infrastructure — email-only access.

Should you care?

If you’re benchmarking ML accelerators against Nvidia, yes. If you’re shipping production, not yet — software stack maturity is the limiting factor and will be for at least another quarter.

We’ll review one once we can get a stable rental for two weeks.
